C.I. Banasan Receives the Order of the Congress of the Republic at the Rank of Commander

In a solemn ceremony held in the Yellow Hall of the National Capitol in Bogotá, the International Banana Trader C.I. Banasan S.A.S. was awarded the Order of the Congress of the Republic at the rank of Commander, one of the highest distinctions granted by the Colombian legislature.

The recognition was presented by Senator Gustavo Moreno to Álvaro Vives, Chairman of the Board; Carlos Pinilla, General Manager; Aniceto Guzmán, Founding Partner; Yamile Rodríguez, Director of the Banasan Foundation; and Andrea Santos, Company Comptroller.

During his speech, Senator Gustavo Moreno highlighted Banasan’s commitment to the economic, social, and cultural development of the Caribbean region, emphasizing its contribution to creating quality employment and implementing social and community programs led by the Banasan Foundation.

This distinction comes as the company celebrates 20 years of operations, recognizing business excellence, social responsibility, and dedication to the well-being of communities in Magdalena and across the country.
